My boyfriend puts baby powder on his body and baking soda in his shoes. What does that mean?

I wake up and see him doing the same routine. He also uses baby wipes instead of toilet tissue.

Getting fresh and clean. I powder my body. It smells clean and helps to lower the chance of chafing. The baking soda in the shoes is to control sweat and odor. Lots of people use baby wipes for TP.

Sounds like your man has a sweat problem, you can actually fix that with botox, if for example he has excessive underarm sweat what the botox will do it will paralyze the glands and not discharge the sweat, he's probably self concious about it. Don't think of it as a weird thing, my ex used to do the same thing
He's trying not to go through the day stinking. Apparently he has a body odor and/or perspiration issue.





As for baby wipes, some people prefer them because they get your behind cleaner (and are less abrasive) than toilet tissue.
Baby powder absorbs sweat, same with baking soda. Baby wipes or wet toilet tissue is more effective than dry paper alone.





It seems like he takes care of himself, and doesn't want to smell. Is that such a bad thing? If you are in a relationship with him, why don't you feel you can't ask him this yourself?
He's trying to stay so fresh so clean. Just don't let it become a substitute for showering.





He may sweat a lot and wants to make sure that he's still smelling great at the end of the day. Hell, I put some powder on my balls when I know it's gunna be a hot day. Hope that wasn't too graphic for ya....

Sounds like he likes to be clean and not stink-makes sense to me.

Power/soda..it absorbs the sweat...he must sweat alot during the day...Men, have more sensitive butt.....holes.....I know alot of guys who use the wipes instead of tissue paper...

The baby powder is used to control perspiration. A lot of people use this instead of anti-perspirant because of some of the industrial chemicals that can be harmful - it's not proven, but a lot of people avoid non-organic deodorants because of it. Some use organic ones or just plain baby powder.





Baking soda in the shoes is normal too. It eats up odor. People use it also in bathrooms, kitchens, kitty litter, etc.





Using baby wipes instead of toilet tissue is a little unusual. Maybe he wants it extra clean down there, but who knows. Is he afraid of germs or a hypochondriac?
Your bf is probably just being clean he may sweat excessively aand thats why he uses the powder and baking soda. Its common u have nothing to worry about and I like to use baby wipes also u will defitnitely become cleaner with a wipe than u would tissue. So be grateful he practices proper hygiene. Goodluck.

now, if i were you, i'd ask him why he needs his @ss that clean.
It means he sweats. Guys put baby powder on their bodies because they have hair in places that we dont and when they sweat alot of the time they chaffe. He puts baking soda in his shoes so his feet wont stink and he uses baby wipes cause they are smoother and gentler on your bottom.
Obviously he is keeping himself clean baking soda absorbs sweat. would you rather have him smell sweaty an d stinky?

the baby powder on his body is to keep him soft and it helps to keep away smell and the baking soda in the shoe is just to make his feet not stink
