Do you know how different powder formula from ready-to-use formula. I'm using Enfamil Lipil. They are different color. Why?Which is better for baby's digestion - powder or ready- to -use formula?
The reason they are different in colors is because the ready to feed or concentrate is prepared with preservatives and is sterile requiring little or no preparation and that's why there is a different color. Powder formula is not able to be sterilized and is usually cheaper per oz. I tried powdered formula but our daughter responded well to the ready to feed with no gas or constipation. It really depends on the baby though I have friends that feed powder only and have no problems but have problems with the ready to feed so all babies are different. Its about your budget as well, ready to feed is sooo expensive but found that concentrate is about 20 per month more for us rather than the powder something im ok with its just not for everyone. Good luck and hope this helps...Which is better for baby's digestion - powder or ready- to -use formula?
i dont think that one in particular is better, unless you have a premie then they need ready to feed for sterile reasons, i like the powder, so does my budget! as for the color variation, not a clue
