We just got a 7week old kitty and my mom said that she wanted to put baby powder on the kitten to make it smell good do u think that would b ok or can it have big affectsIs baby powder ok on a kitten?
NO, NO , NO! Just rub your new baby with a clean white cloth! Add warm water to the cloth, for gosh sake, smell the beauty of a sweet new born kitten..forget the commercial crap! Powder can cause soooooooooooooo many problems to kittys and young children! Is baby powder ok on a kitten?
It's not a good idea because cats will lick off whatever you put on them. Not only will the powder not last long on the cat, but the kitten will be eating a lot of baby powder.
Give it a bath with shampoo made for pets or simply get used to the way the cat smells. Those are the only acceptable options.
Not a good idea.. you can bath her in tepid water with special pet shampoo or baby shampoo dilute is ok too.. then she'll smell nice but I would only do it if she's grubby as they good at keeping themselves clean.
no a kitten doesnt need powder, thats silly
they clean themselves and he could lick it from his fur and get sick
no the kitten will mostlikely have an allergic reaction
please don't.
noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
