I've heard that a diaper rash is like a yeast infection, so will baby powder get rid of my infection?

as far as i know baby powder will not get rid of a yeast infection and the only thing baby powder does is help from getting diaper rash so your best bet would to get the over the counter yeast infection cream or go to your doctor and get it taken care of as soon as you can cause trust me i have had one yeast infection in my life and i hope i NEVER have another they suckI've heard that a diaper rash is like a yeast infection, so will baby powder get rid of my infection?
NO! In fact, Baby Powders can Cause Yeast infections. You need to be properly diagnosed if this is the first time you've had one. By a Dr., Nurse Practitioner, or Physician's Assistant.

There are many things that can be causing an infection besides yeast; so please don't be self diagnosing and treating.I've heard that a diaper rash is like a yeast infection, so will baby powder get rid of my infection?
Some diaper rashes are yeast infections, but they're in the minority and require the same antifungal drugs that are used to treat yeast vaginitis, though in a different vehicle.
No. You need to use antifungal cream.

Baby powder doesn't cure nappy rash per se, it prevents it from happening.

Edit: The only thing that ';causes'; yeast infections is yeast. Baby powder may or may not exacerbate the infection but does not cause it.
