It was used to prevent babies from getting rashes. You aren't supposed to use it anymore though. Many baby powders contain talcum powder and it has been found that talcum powder can cause problems.What the heckk is baby powder used for on actual babies!!?
Bottoms and my baby is shall we say well covered, so it comes in handy for all the little folds making sure she completely dry after her bath, if you saw her you would understand lol
to soak up moisture...

So really it should be called fatty powder.
powdering their butts so they smell fresh and it also helps to avoid diaper rash.
On their legs mostly so their skin doesnt get all chafed and end up with a rash.
You put it on their diaper area so they don't get a rash.
