Is baby powder dangerous or unsafe for babies?

Baby powder is unsafe for babies when their parents snort it and post silly questions on YA while they baby is playing with the pool water in the back yard.Is baby powder dangerous or unsafe for babies?
if a large puff cloud of it comes out the bottle, there is a chance that it can get into the baby's lungs and it may cause swelling and irritate them. They can also get a inflammatory reaction if it is use when/if the baby has a diaper rash and the powder gets into it. Try using cornstarch its safer then talcum powder! Or the famous Butt Paste...its the best!Is baby powder dangerous or unsafe for babies?
It can be if some of the powder gets inhaled in their lungs.
Don't allow the baby to breath the talc powder, its not good for their little lungs. It will cause respiratory problems.
Don't use it on adults!

If you use it on adults you will be breaking the federal labeling law. Also don't feed it to babies, it is powder not food.
certainly not
no
If inhaled baby powder can irritate the lining of the lungs and cause respritory problems. Always sprinkle powder into your hand (away from the baby) then put it on their bottom. Never leave baby powder where your infant (or toddler) can reach it. I have heard of one death from baby powder, where a toddler shook the bottle all over his bedroom while unsupervised (I think it was on Oprah). Bottomline is don't leave it laying around, and make sure you know what your kids are upto.
Are you serious?
