Baby powder on hair roots- what else?

What can I use, besides baby powder, to keep my roots from becoming greasy?Baby powder on hair roots- what else?
Eeeew no baby powder. Wash hair everday and condtion only from the ears down.Baby powder on hair roots- what else?
A blast with some light-hold hairspray works great and gives a matte look while sucking up some of the greasiness.
ive never tried it, but dry shampoo
take a shower every single day and use shampoo and scrub your roots
Oooh. IDK. I have the same problem. Baby powder helps a little, but not much, I know. It also causes a contrast cause I have dark brown hair, and it doesn't always mix/blend. Whenever I shower, though, I make sure that at the end I really scrub my roots with just some water, to strip some of the natural oils. I also clean my hairbrush and comb reguarly with soap and water, because using a hair brush that has hair in it, or hasn't been cleaned in a while makes your hair greasy.

Good luck!
wash your hair daily to remove the extra oil from the scalp, use conditioner only on the ends of your hair so it doesnt weigh down the hair and cause it to seperate at the roots to look greasy. also hair products that are cheap or are and off brand will cause the hair to look greasy. it doesnt hurt anything to wash it daily if you are already an oily person. if you were dry skinned it would strip your hair of its natural oil and lusture.
stila makes this stuff like baby powder for hair that has their signature perfume in it for $22
