IF you use talc, you should put it on the inside of the dress and on you... You then use polish to get the talc off the outside of the dress.
However, I use silicon lube to put my latex on!

the powder shouldn't be able to penetrate the dress such that it shows on the outside.
Just be careful and buff it off afterwards with the spray polish stuff you can get.
I once read that you roll it into a ring, use the baby powder to get it in position, then roll it up over your body. (or down, as the case may be.)
Try Pjur lube. You will never use powder again.
